It's going to be hard for...
It's going to be hard for me to top that last highly informative review, but I'll try:
This is a pretty interesting club, hidden away in the middle of Paris, in the Les Halles area. From the outside, it doesn't look like much, just a small storefront. To be honest, it's not much to look at inside either, just a small theater with rows of seats facing a small stage. And it's easy to appreciate how rundown the place looks, since it's unusually well-lit inside.
This club works the same way as other similar clubs in Paris: it's an erotic show, meaning you pay the entry fee (50 euros), which allows you to sit and watch for as long as you want. No tipping, no drinks, no other fees. When I went, on a weekday afternoon, there were only a few dancers -- maybe six at most. They were mostly in the 5-7 range: no one who had no business being there, but really no knockouts either. What makes this club interesting is the way the show works. Generally, the dancers will strip on stage, and then once they are fully unclothed, they make their way through the audience, giving each person a closer look and a mini lap dance. You can get a little hands on during these mini-laps. Sometimes, two dancers will work together, and one will lie on your lap while they perform a lesbian show. Yes, on your lap. So, that's really interesting. The bad news is that as they do this, moving from person to person, there's really nothing else to look at. So you're stuck with the awkward choice of staring forward into space or ogling some other guy while he's getting his kicks. It's rather awkward, but if you have no qualms about such things, it does certainly make for an interesting experience, and it's different from what you normally experience at a club in the US.
