I had not been to Tijuana...

I had not been to Tijuana for over 2 years before returning last week. Adelitas has changed quite a bit. It is the second nicest looking bar in the Zona Norte, after Hong Kong. The layout has not changed too much, but the general appearance is more upscale, and there is more light. Drinks, as others have reported, are typically $3.50 or 42 pesos. I did not buy any lady drinks. The club was fairly empty on Wednesday, and full on a holiday Saturday, with all tables occupied and a few guys standing. As always, this is the busiest bar in the Zona Norte, but it is much less crowded than it used to be

The girls are the most attractive I saw in any Tijuana bars, but they are unfortunately much less attractive than they used to be. I saw 3 girls I would rate above an 8, and a handful of 7-8s as long as you can tolerate fake boobs. Most of the girls, however, are just downright fat and/or ugly. I can't believe how few stunners there are now compared to a few years ago. I can't report on the price to take them to a hotel, as I did not find anyone I would have been interested in. There no cover charge on the Saturday before Memorial Day or the previous Wednesday. However, on Wednesday the talent level was even lower. I only saw two 8s and two 7s and the rest were completely unattractive to me. I'll return if I am in Tijuana, but I'll no longer make many special trips just for the bars.
