I went to this club about...

I went to this club about a month ago, and already I'm starting to forget the details. Not a good sign, as I can recount minute by minute details of clubs I visited years ago. I guess that tells you how good an experienc eI had at Deja Vu.

There's a stage at the front of the main room, with a white line a foot or two from it. Customers aren't supposed to go inside the line, so if you want to tip the dancer you have to approach the line and kind of throw the bill onto the stage, then retreat. Kind of like at the airport. I think the dancers got nude on stage, and it's a really bad sign that I can't even remember that. Dances were fully clothed, though.

Couches along the side of the main room give a little privacy because they're raised. No touching. The bouncer will come up the first time if you touch a dancer at all, for example on the leg or back, and tell you the rules. I never saw him have to tell anyone twice (very polite the first time, probably not so much the second) but he had to tell pretty much everyone because it takes discipline to keep you hands firmly on the couch the whole dance. He also had to tell a number of people who went inside the white line.
