Follies has its ups and downs....

Follies has its ups and downs. The lows are rock bottom and the highs edge toward average in an Atlanta club scene that is mediocre at best. If you don't live here, be aware that no club in Atlanta offers lap dancing regardless of what you may read in these reviews or see advertised.

That said, there are two clubs (not counting black clubs, which you'd be wise to stay away from if you're white) where if you're there on the right day and sit in the right place, you might score some occasional butt-to-crotch rubbing. Follies is one of those.

The club is in a section of town heavily Hispanic, which is reflected in its clientele and dancers. The club is barely beyond small, and a tad above a true dive inside. That's why weekend parking is aggravating. The club started valet parking which, for all practical purposes, is mandatory; very few slots still are free in the club parking lot. Parking at a strip mall across the street is one option to beat the parking fee.
