I've been reading about this club...

I've been reading about this club for quite some time but don't get down to this part of NJ very often. On my way down the Turnpike from MA, my mind was made up to visit for my first, and probably only time since it'll be closing in a few months.

But, driving makes me think, and I decided to go to Playhouse for a sure thing rather than try a new club that's closing anyway. The problem was that I got to PH about 12:15, only two cars in the lot (that I figured were for employees) so off I was, back up Rt. 130 headed for Cheeks. I arrived at 12:40 (they apparently open at 12:30), there was one bona fide customer other than me and a few dancers sitting with their handlers.

Most dancers were overweight and Brazilian, and sadly when I say overweight I MEAN overweight! Three came by my seat at the bar seeing that I was only one of two customers in the joint. The mini-laps were pretty good (would have been better if done by better looking dancers!) and the promises in the "tents" were amazing. But being early I was able to resist their promises. There was also a thin blond European dancer on stage, about a 7 but the best of the lot up until then. But she was on stage so I had to wait.!
