After a fairly disappointing visit to Cheetahs, I decided to head down the street a few blocks and check out Treasures. Very attractive building and a very comfortable and classy interior. Was greeted by a stunning brunette who asked if I was a local. When I said no, she smiled and said I was today and waived me in. Seemed to be several rooms off to the left and right but was directed through a set of doors straight ahead and went inside. Not a lot of dancers in evidence when I arrived but only a handful of customers in the place either. Found a table a bit back from the main stage and ordered a beer. Was charged $1 which is apprently the price during Happy Hour which lasts until 6. Was quickly joined by a pretty attractive older dancer who parked herself on my lap. It was a sign of things to come. During the roughly 2 hours I was in the club, I was almost never without company, whether I wanted it or not. Most all pushed pretty hard for a trip to one of the VIP areas but I resisted. Place seems to be quite a United Nations as I met women from Hungary, Poland and Morocco. The dancers were uniformly attractive but not spectacular and the stage show was pretty uninspired as was the "buffet" of which I did not partake. The girls did give fair contact when I tipped a few of them at the stage. I decided to keep moving around just to keep the girls off-balance but even that didn't work. At one point, I needed another beverage and was told beer was now $10.50 but I could get two for that price so I did. That meant more women swarming me for dances. Now I make it sound bad but it was not unpleasant and most ultimately would take no for an answer. A couple did seems kind of annoyed when I turned them down but I think it was more frustration with how slow it was than with me personally. I ultimately decided to head out without getting any dances. Not really sure why. I generally liked Treasures quite a bit and the dancers, other than being a little pushy, were cute and seemed like they might be fun. Staff was nice and it is a great facility. I think the place has great potential and I'll likely check it out again.
