I just submitted a review earlier on this place and have buyer's remorse for I'd like to add to it. Here goes...

What I thought of later was the Deja Vu near Pike's Market in Seattle versus this location. In Seattle, many girls (and overall they were better looking than Deja Vu on Midway in San Diego) arose to work the 2-for-1 special when announced. They circulated and would ask many guys if they'd want dances. It was the total opposite in SD as they ran off the floor for the locker room. Then, that got me to thinking: maybe the dancers at the SD location would say they're getting a bad shake from management. I then I thought of how the SD location disturbs the $100 15 minute VIP dances at will for their drink scam. In Seattle, they never venture into the VIP area to do it; only on the main floor when you're watching the stage show (so they're not wasting your expensive dance time.) So, because I don't like the way the SD Vu management operates (I guess it's another case of entitlement for them), I'd recommend upon entering the SD Deja Vu on Midway one head over to the dj and ask when the next "2-for-1" special will be. If he tells you it's soon, you're in business; just bide your time until then and then buy (that is if the girls don't run away...) If the dj hears the same question about "2-for-1" enough and gives you a smart or hostile answer, tell him straight out you're going to Cheetahs where it's much better and leave.
