Players was the third club I visited on this trip to Michigan, the other two being Flight Club and Playhouse. Players, unfortunately, has seen better days. I don't know if LE has been putting too much pressure on clubs in the city of Detroit, or whether management has just let the place decline. On a Monday afternoon, there were about 4 or 5 girls in the place and about that many customers. There was not one girl that I would rave about. And there used to be at least a handful on afternoon shifts that were better than outstanding. Maybe it was a bad day or maybe the club is in decline. But I didn't wait to investigate further. I drank my drink and left. I'll look in on my next trip to SE Michigan, and hope it is a better experience. Too bad. Players used to be great club once upon a time.
