I made my first visit to...

I made my first visit to Carl's a couple of weeks ago. Sounds like the "old" Carl's was more to my liking. This place is nicely decorated but seems sterile.

Had I not known otherwise, I would have thought this was a standard bar when I walked in. Lots of TVs and several pool tables. It was around 9:30 and yet I only saw ONE girl (other than the bartender) in the club. A couple of other girls were leaving as I was entering. Given that there were less than a dozen customers (in a pretty large club), I guess they decided to cut their losses and call it an early night. The lone dancer stayed with the same customer the entire time I was there. With absolutely zero action going on, I stayed for one beer and left.

I may stop in again one of these days just to see if this particular visit was a fluke, but based on this visit I won't go out of my way to do so.
