The wife and I decided to make our first visit to Platinum last night, and we weren't disappointed. First off, upon arriving to the club we were able to get in without paying the cover since I am a member of law enforcement. It's nice to be recognized. The club is quite large, and was surprisingly busy. I think a lot of the crowd was probably there for the amateur night, which in itself was OK-nothing to write home about though. The quality of dancers was very high. I like the fact that this club has a very wide variety and realizes that not all men are looking for bone thin women with protruding ribs. I enjoyed the clubs laid back party atmosphere. On the downside, the DJ was pretty annoying and enjoyed dropping the F bomb every chance he got. We were only approached by two girls the entire 3 hours we were there. I don't know if couples aren't allowed in the couch room or what. Not being approached wasn't that big of a deal for us though since we were really just wanting to check the place out, a dry run if you will. However, had we been looking for dances I would've been fairly disappointed. I didn't see anyone getting table dances, once again I'm not sure if they just don't do those in this club or what. All in all we had a great time and are planning on going back often. Maybe my next review will be "the couch room experience".
