Stopped in on a whim. The Boo has always been a "starter strip club" for young dancers -- high school girls, girls from the local colleges on a dare or looking for some spare cash, those too bashful for higher contact. So the talent was outstanding. Lotta B-cup blonds and brunettes, a couple girls with enhanced racks, at least a half dozen who were too young to drink in a real bar. Floor show was also outstanding, lotta pole gymnastics, customers actually tip at the stage -- saw one good dancer come away with at least $50 in tips from the garter on one song set. Customer to dancer ratio was a little more than 1 girl per customer, most girls were sitting with guys but would mix (the frequent specials insured that).

The $5 cover is about right, the $15 dances a little high compared given the fact that it's more tease than contact -- mostly well directed rubbing and suggestive ear breathing, with no touching of the breasts and kitty. Then again, it's not that much tamer than one might get from, say Eve at Ybor Strip. Worth $15? In moderation. The club is small and the presence of two bodybuilder-bouncer types who can view literally everything in the club keeps chances for high contact virtually nil. So why go? The show. Been at least five years since I last visited (maybe 10). Would I go again? Definitely not next week or next month. Not because it's a bad club -- it does what it does very well. That's just not my preferred style of dance club.
