The wife (who loves getting dances)...

The wife (who loves getting dances) and I took quick two night trip to Vegas to take advantage of the current recession based hotel deals. Wednesday night was "club" hopping night for us. We wandered down to Fremont Street to see the "Experience" and check out Glitter Gulch. After a painful $20/pp cover, we were seated in a booth facing the stage.

The club has one long stage running down the middle with the bar and additional seating behind. After a quick horizon scan it looked like about 1 attractive dancer to 10 train wrecks. Drinks were awful. The lighting was dark, but should have been darker. There was this cellulite clad thing dancing on stage, an image we are still trying to purge from our minds. Two girls came over to us, took up positions just to the left and right of us, turned around and proceeded to loudly discuss their strategy for getting the 2 men at the edge of the stage to buy dances -- obnoxious.

The bar was littered with dancers madly SMS/texting - obviously as thrilled to be there as we were. After another 5 minutes, two girls approached us. My wife -- who to be clear, had $200 burning a hole in her pocket -- was clearly not interested and said so. The two pressured on further and further, finally pissed us off enough that we left with 3 1/2 untouched drinks on the table.
