There was a time when IS seemed to be the midwest equivalent of Mons Venus. Everybody seemed to think this was Chicago's Mecca. Finally I had the opportunity to check it out. I am disappointed.

The outside of the club is rough and the sign only gives the address so I drove past it. Finally found the place and went inside. Doorman explained the menu and charged $16 cover. A bit pricey for what they offered. No bar but soft drinks are only $1.

There are several stages but only the center one was in use this evening. Dancers were 5-7 in looks and 2-4 in enthusiasm. No dancers were sitting with customers. They appear to only stop by after their stage work and then only to those who tipped them.

VIP dances are only $55 for three, the first topless and the others nude. Your are given a cloth "place mat" for your lap. It is clear that the kitty is off-limits. The rest of the dance was tame and this is a shame since the privacy factor is excellent.

All in all, this is an OK club but nothing to go to great lengths for.
