After a mixed experience at Sapp on Tue, I decided to go back to SR to see if I run into a few old favorites. When I walked up, I can feel the hot air and smoke coming out of the club and almost turned back. The bouncer assured me it was not that full. Same deal as Sapp, 30 for entrance, 20 for 2 drinks. I thought what the heck, and when I walked in, it was crowded, but not so crowded that you could not walk. There were even one or two seats available if you moved fast. But 5 minutes later I ran into an old favorite, and we hung around and chatted at the bar and then went to the 3 for 100 room. It was busy, and we had to que up for about 15 min before getting a slot. The manager would come around to remind everyone to keep dances going, or they have to give up the space. Other than the hassle, and the hot/smokey air, we had a great time for a couple of hours and made a date for another visit. The quality of the girls is hands down TOP, but because of the low ceiling, it gets hot and smokey in there. Great club, avoid it on weekend and during March (except on slow nights, like Sun-Wed.)
