I hadn't been here in several years (I'm seldom in Tampa) so I had to go on principle. Hundreds of reviewers can't be wrong and they aren't, but taste is an individual thing, The dancers are good looking and all that but the whole operation had an industraial feel to it. There three or four dancers on stage at a time adn when there are not a call goes out for more dancers to go on stage. The songs are 2and a half to 3 and a half minutes long and each dancers stays for anywhere from two to four songs. The dancing, such as it is, is mostly posing up close to patrons for tips. The dancers wear what they want off stage,even to the point of jeans lowered to cover just the legs. I sat on a bench back from the stage and got many polite requests for dances. I got several from a thin girl (j..) which were very nice at $20 a dance. There was a long bench facing a mirrored wall on the side to the right of the stage. The illusion of two benches facing each other is so complete that even though I knew better, I ran into the wall when I entered the dance area. There is little room to walk with patron legs stretched out just a bit. There were about 25 dancers and maybe 50 patrons when I was there, so it wasn't crowded even as small as it is, but so much is going on that felt very busy. There is no smoking, the dances are two-way contact and the girls are nude so there can't be much to complain about. I just have felt more comfortable at the Sundowner in Canada or even at 2001 across the street.
