Saturday evening at 6. No cover....

Saturday evening at 6. No cover. It looked like Tuesday afternoon. Maybe 10 dancers. Most of the 25 customers were crowded around the bar, watching basketball on TV. And when the game ended... they left. Still, my friend and I sat for an hour before a single dancer offered either of us a dance. Dancers were hiding in the back, or sitting in small groups on the floor, seemingly content to be there without making any money. This always puzzles me.

The talent was a bit below Centerfolds standards. The crew at Centerfolds never compares to the crew at, say, Bourbon Street, but on this evening, there were quite a few women I might not look at twice at the mall. Eventually, a petite blond dancer called Summer arrived and rescued me. After a few dances on the floor, we spent some quality time in the VIP, and this saved the day.

I still haven't been to the nude side. On this trip, I left at 8:30, and that side was not yet open. Apparently, it is opening later and later. I wonder whether the owners misjudged the market and the nude side is going to end up being a big failure.
