On a whim, I dropped into...
On a whim, I dropped into this place while in New York. It was approximately 2 AM, Saturday night, and the place was packed. 18 dollar cover charge just to get in, plus a one drink minimum, which sadly bit into the meager travel budget I had left by this point. The room was pretty much several rows of couches and chairs all aimed vaguely at a wall-oriented stage with a single dancer.
No sooner did I find a seat, before sitting down, when I was required to order my drink. I sat down and within 10 seconds, a rather aggressive (but very attractive) blck dancer was all over me. VERY touchy-feely, friendly, draped over me like I was catnip. I had to pry her off long enough to pay for my drink - $7 for a Coke, I handed over a $10 and never saw any change.
Being the sucker that I am... and having specifically been in the mood for a black dancer, I opted for the $20 lap dance, which was performed on a free section of couch near the back of the room. Again, the dancer, whose name I never quite got, was extremely good at what she did, and had lvely, large, natural breasts. Unfortunately, she was aggressive and persistent. Before I'd even agreed to one dance, she was trying to sell me on a private room ($200 for 15 minutes, $360 for 30 minutes, which was way out of my range for the night.) All through the lap dance, she continued to try and convince me to go for the private dance, rubbing my crotch with her hand and whispering sweet nothings in my ear about how she'd make me come quickly, how I could finger and touch her, and so on. It sounded awfully full service. As I said, it was more than I was willing to spend, and her unrelenting aggressive tactics turned me off, which was a shame because I was sorely tempted.
