I thought that it’s about time...
I thought that it’s about time to review all the customary topics for any newer readers out there. This club cultivates a party atmosphere, which mostly explains the loud music. It’s pretty loud during the day and very loud at night. The club also gets very crowded on Friday and Saturday nights. It's still a party scene during the week but there's more room to move around and you can get some fairly private moments in the couch room. South Carolina has some strange liquor laws. Beer, wine, and things like hard lemonade can be sold from 10am Monday until 2am Sunday, 24 hours a day, however hard liquor can only be sold from 10am till 2am each day. The club stays open and is packed all night Saturday so at 2am they begin selling nonalcoholic beer and no liquor or real beer. Other nights you can purchase beer & wine only after 2am.
Drink prices are more like what you would pay at a regular bar with a happy hour (4-8) that is hard to beat. Happy hour is my favorite time. There isn't a drink hustle here. When you buy a dancer a drink she will get the same thing as if you are drinking it yourself. If you like to sit and talk to the girls, they are usually willing if you buy her a drink. Waitresses normally offer good service without pestering you. The club allows smoking and they sell cigars. It’s pretty smoky inside and you will reek when you leave.
Physically, the club is moderate in size with brass rails and décor similar to those high price gentlemen’s clubs. Except for late weekend nights it’s pretty easy to find a seat and you can drink at the bar and still get a good view. There are multiple levels and steps throughout the club. It may be easy to trip but you can see what’s happing from most seats. There is a main stage and 2 small cages with the cages near the back bar. Tipping at the cages is very good fun. The couch dances are done in one of 2 separate, but not private, rooms. In a way there are three but the larger room is separated into 2 sections by a divider that you can see over. The best section is probably the one behind the projection tv. There aren’t any real couches. There are benches built into the wall, but they serve the purpose well enough. There’s no restroom attendant and there are no towels, only blowers.
