Gold Club Centerfolds is a bit...
Gold Club Centerfolds is a bit hard to find, as it is located in building that does not face Folsom Boulevard. Look for Larson’s Marine; the driveway to the club is located next to it.
I visited on a Sunday afternoon in January. The cover was $15, and included free soft drink refills, and a wristband that allowed access to the separate Platinum Room where most of the lap dances were performed. On this particular afternoon, there were eight dancers, all Caucasian or Latino in the 6 to 8 range. The dancers included a good mix of breast and body size, but surprisingly, no blondes.
The dancers performed three song sets, on a very large stage. The principal lighting (other than the stage area) came from a disco ball, which I found quite distracting. The DJ was hard to understand, and distracted from the performances rather than enhanced them. For the first hour or so, I found it difficult to get attention from either the waitress or the dancers. At that time in the afternoon, the dancers tended to hang out in the dressing room or head to regulars rather than approaching patrons.
