Went here for the first time...

Went here for the first time last Weds. Don't understand the hype and the high ratings on TUSCL. This place is old, tired looking and dirty on the inside and the outside. It was quite crowded with a heavy concentration of working class and mexican guys (which I certainly have no interest in, but that's not the case at the other Austin GCs). The dancers were uninspiring, looked either older or more 'hayseed' than those at clubs closer to UT. Never tried a dance to check out the mileage because absolutely no dancer matched my fancy, but I'd say mileage would have to be good because there's no other redeeming quality to this place. Much better choices in Austin.
