Passing through Winona on a Sunday...

Passing through Winona on a Sunday night is pretty boring, so I crossed the bridge and turned right to 4 Mile. It's not a bad bar, but it's not a palace either. There seemed to be a lot of local college-types there, which didn't really bother me, but some of the guys at the rail looked really young. Anyway, the dancers were pretty good, and each had their own style. The girls can control their own lighting, and that was kinda cool. The ages of the dancers ranged from college to maybe late thirties, and they were all good-looking. One dancer joined me at the bar, where we struck up a conversation. Unfortunately, I found out how long she's been dancing, and made the mistake of saying she must enjoy it. Um... no. She then took off on a tangent about the subjugation of women and how demeaning she finds the job, which totally undid any below-the-belt good her dancing had produced. A stimulating conversation for a university classroom, but self-defeating in a strip club. Anyway, the club was decent, but the experience was a bit tarnished. I left withing ten minutes of that conversation.
