The club is in one of...
The club is in one of the generic warehouse/office blocks. At the entrance vestible with the cashier collecting the cover charge, I got wanded with a metal detector; if I had known this, I would have left my keyring and cellphone in the car. Entering the club proper, the main bar was off to the right on the wall facing the parking lot and another smaller bar was on oppisite wall with a pool table near that one. Near the entrance were tables and a small dance stage (unused on the evening of my visit). The main stage was on the far wall nearest the highway. The stage was fairly large with the dance pole distressly far from any of the sides. The stage lighting was fairly complex and very annoying to me; such lighting would have been more appropriate for a rock concert. Also the ambient light was very low; it was difficult to make out the interesting parts of the dancers' anatomy; as with other club, Foxy Lady was installed though dreaded purple "black lights" that I also find irritating. To the left of the stage were the dance booths and a "champagne room" to the right. The booth had open entrances and the usual plush couches. The ceiling have exposed ductwork and piping favored by many current interior designers; again, I found this warehouse atmosphere unexciting. Overall, the club was clean (even the mens room), though upscale in ways not to my taste.
While all dancers were fairly well proportioned (one was definitely a rubenesque BBW, but there were no beached whales), I confess that none really tickled my pickle. All the dancers were white or various shades of dark. Not too surprisingly, a number of dancers were from Brazil. That said, each stage dance lasted three songs generally following the pattern of the first in bikini, the second topless and the last nude (though one dancer elected to remain topless till the end). Some dancers allowed tips to be placed between or under the breast, but the vigilant bouncers prevented any more intimate touching. Since I was quoted $150 plus other fees for 15 minutes in the champagne room, I chose the "private" booth dance for $20/dance plus $5 booth fee. While the club had a strict patron's hands off policy, the dancers provided a fair degree of contact (depending on the dancer, of course) for a Massachusetts strip club. Foxy Lady is certainly better than some of the "air dance" clubs elsewhere in Mass. but it still falls short of the Rhode Island clubs.
