I know a Sunday afternoon isn't the best time for a visit, but wow, what a textbook example of when the hustle is too low. Was there with three friends, and we wanted dances, and tipped several dancers on stage and asked them to come over only to be left boobieless for two hours. It's not like we saw them dancing nonstop for other customers, either. And dancer quality could charitably be described as the B-team, with a couple of cute exceptions. It can't possibly be like this at night. Other than the utter lack of lapdances, the Rose remains an institution -- a comfortable, laid-back place to hang, and of course with many television screens that made it our choice in the first place as there was a game on one of our party wanted to watch. Gonna stick to nights or late-week afternoons for future visits, though.
