Ok, I like this site for a couple reasons. First, the posts are honest and, for the most part, ring true. Second, my favorite dive bar strip joints (Rumors, Blue Diamond, Dreamers) are listed, so I feel invested in the content. (If only Sizzler were still open so I rave about it here...)

I am a long time fan of Rumors going back about 6-7 years. I understand the West Side used to be the Wild West back in the 80's and 90's, which I missed entirely moving to Cbus in the late 90's, but am glad I found Rumors one rainy night. Since it is the bar where I have gone the most often and had the best experiences, I decided to list out my most memorable visits to Rumors and hopefully educate, entertain, and entice those who have yet to visit this delightful dump. Without further ado, my top five Rumors visits (broke into five posts):

5. I need to pay homage to my maiden voyage for I will always be thankful to the crazy chick who turned me on to Rumors. I met said Crazy (stripper) Chick, whose name I have long forgot, at another West side strip club on Broad (name also forgotten, was just west of Broad/I-70, now closed...surprise) during the first Thursday of March Madness in 2001 or 2002.
