Decided to give this place a spin since it was new and didn't have any reviews yet. For the Times Square area, this place is sort of off the beaten path. It's definitely walking distance but after 8th street it's primarily residential. Arrived at 11:30 on a Tuesday night. There are currently no outside signs that identify the place so I had to go strictly by the street address. There was no door man upside so I went up a ramp and tried to open the door. Discovering it was locked the door man fairly quickly opened up the door for me. Once inside you find out that it's a $5 coat check. You go through a second door and find a narrow room with a small bar on your immediate right and a small stage on the right beyond that. Immediately across from the stage are a number of small tables with high back chairs. Beyond those, the back of the first floor has a champagne area on the left which includes its own small stage and a stairs on the right hand side leading to a second floor. The decor was definitely upscale, including some chandeliers and dark wood paneling. I immediately ordered a drink, which was $6 dollars. There was nobody dancing on the stage when I sat down and I was near immediately welcomed by one of what turned out to be a massage girl. Being my first time I asked her for a rundown. $20 lap dances in the immediate area. She explained that there were also rooms upstairs that were had separate prices for the house and the girl. After making some small talk she left and I was approached by an Italian-Brazilian named Gia. She was fun and chatty. Only modest pressure for lap dances and/or private room. After talking to her for a few minutes I purchased her a drink primarily out of guilt. Drink for her was $18. Gave the waitress a $20 and she made no pretense about returning the change. A few minutes later I was encouraged by one of the managers to checkout the rooms upstairs--just a courtesy check mind you. Rates ranged from $150 for a small room with beads to $750 an hour for a room with a solid door and lock. It was another $300 to the girl for an hour. After recovering from my shock--hell, I just came in there for a few dances--I fairly quickly made for the exit. So, after all this, what I can say about the place. There were probably 6 dancers. All were friendly, but none over a 7. The bartender, Monica, was the hottest number there by far. Probably would have gotten a few dances from her if available. There were a small number of patrons when I arrived and only a modest number trickled in while I was there. When I left there was may two other small groups that had embarked upstairs. Saw one group get a bottle of champagne in the special area. Also, saw one person get a single dance from Ameila. It was moderate one-way contact at best. The place has potential once it decides what it wants to be. Right now it seems to want to be a high-end private room joint that happens to offer lap dances and some stage dancing in the downstairs. The staff all believes the place is a bargain compared to other NYC locations--and it might be if you want to drop $500+. But, if you're looking to spend a Benjamin or two you might just leave disappointed like I did. I might go back, but I'm going to watch this space to see what other's experience has been. I gave the club a fair rating because I see it's got potential and is in good shape. Dancer rating at 6 was fair--I would have rated it higher if there had been at least one hot dancer there or at least more dancers... I rated the value fairly low since I got suckered for the $20 drink for the dancer, $6 + tip water, and $5 + tip coat check. Never got a dance and left essentially unsatisfied on the hunt for another club.
