Decided to visit this particular club...

Decided to visit this particular club because it was the first one I ever worked at and I guess I was feeling a bit nostalgic...well in reality it is the only decent club in town. I want to say it is the less busy of the two main clubs in Jackson but still there is a bit of class in the air not found in any club in Jackson, Mississippi and that's something to be said. The club itself is located in the warehouse/industrial area due to ordinances I assume and it's not the safest area. The security was nice, the hostess at the door was...adequate. This club sells beer but if you prefer liquor you can bring it in for a bottle charge. I must say...coming in with a bottle is almost like being a celebrity...(the girls are bored and like shots) so you will not have an issue of girls not paying you any attention. A small perhaps unimportant side note...most of the dancers seemed to be dating an employee of the club or their boyfriends were sitting at the bar. The decor in Danny's is classic mirrors and pink/purple indoor/outdoor carpet. The DJ did a good job of playing good rock music and the occasional R&B song. There weren't many girls on the floor but I have to say they were all decent looking except for 1 or two who looked like newbies. This is still a laid back club where the girls will all sit with you and crack jokes and make small talk for drinks and the occasional tip. I actually had fun. Dances are 40 a song with a two for one every 30 minutes...if you are from Houston like I am this will throw you off because dances are 20 there but 40 is the norm for Mississippi Tennessee as far as places I have worked. In closing I would just like to warn out-of-town patrons about the general "country appeal" of Danny's...Don't show up looking for super intelligent conversation or reserved young ladies, just be happy to be out of your hotel room.
