Though many of my friends disagree with me, I think VIP is a decent place to go if (like me) you live in Chicago and want to keep your drive under an hour. PROS: The place is nice-looking, clean and well-maintained, girls are for the most part very attractive, friendly, and not too pushy. Drink prices are above average but not outrageous ($5 for a beer I think). CONS: $25 cover, latex pasties, and $20 "table dances" i.e. air dances at your table with all the dudes around you watching. Yeah. Now while that might sound off-putting, the way I think of it is this - it's a non-seedy place where you could bring your girlfriend and have a fun time, plus unlike other strip clubs in the area, they serve alcohol. If you're bringing one of your boys out for his birthday or something, this would be a good place to 'warm up' for the evening. A little pricey, yeah, but you have to remember this is right in the middle of Chicago. I really think it's the best choice within the city limits, better than Admirals where the girls are nude but IMO unfriendly and pushy. If you want more mileage and are willing to drive a bit (pun not intended), try Skybox in Harvey,IL or Industrial Strip in Hammond,IN.
