Dropped in on a Monday Night...

Dropped in on a Monday Night around 8:00 pm. For a club along Columbia in the north Portland industrial district, I was impressed with the well lit parking area and classy look of the club. There were 7 girls dancing 2 song sets on one stage until around 10pm, then it was 12 or 14 girls using 2 stages. I was not charged a cover. The club is impressively decorated in what I will call a techno industrial motif. There are three stages, one in the center shaped like an I with no poles and fluorescent pink pipe around the tip rail, one on the side in the shape of a half circle that features a spinning pole, curtained entrance through the wall, and a cool lighting system built right into the floor. The third stage was on the other side and had no pole. In one corner of the club is a huge big screen TV with separate couch seating, in another there are 5 video poker machines and a fireplace. The club features a DJ who takes up the other corner. I understand there is a VIP and private dance area in another section with a separate stage, but I didn’t check that out. Exotica has no less than 16 TV sets, 10 of which when not showing sports run an old grainy VHS or poor quality DVD of women stripping. Personally I think this is quite silly and found that several of the dancers agreed. The stripping video didn’t enhance my experience.

Service was quick and the drink and steak came out right away, but the dinner was just mediocre. The girls before 10pm were generally not real attractive and didn’t have much energy. However, several of the later shift dancers were little bombshells and put on quite a show. There was one I rated a 10, another 9, and then the rest clustered more toward the 6 to 8 range. Most of the girls offered private dances, and with one exception, were not pushy about it. What is distinctive about Exotica is that there is a definite diversity of ethnicity. I didn’t ask each dancer, but it was clear there were Latinos, Asians, Filipinos, and several African American performers as well as Caucasians. One little hottie may be Indian. And then there is the girl from Israel. Wow! She is a real heartbreaker with a captivating accent and bubbly but direct personality all packed into a killer body with natural boobs. She is a fabulous girl to spend a little time with.

So I have a good first impression of Exotica. While the concentration of glamour girls is a little weak, for a Monday night they offered up some pretty solid adult entertainment. I’ll definitely be back.
