Visited on a recent Friday night....
Visited on a recent Friday night. I came in around 6:30 and stayed until about 8:30. It was sunny outside and some of dancers were taking in the sun and smoking on the patio outside. This was the smoking area (what a wonderful idea). I walked inside and had to pause to wait for my eyes to adapt to the darkness. There were tiny camdles on the nearby tables so I took a seat. The waitress came immediately. I told her I hadn't been before and she responded, "okay." I ordered a drink and asked about how the buffet worked. At first she said it would close in about 20 minutes, but then said it might be closing right away. I asked her to check; she returned and said it would be open a few more minutes. With a little more questioning she said I could buy a ticket from her or buy another drink and get the ticket included. I learned that I have to ask the right questions.
The food was actually quite good: meatloaf, potatoes and vegetables. I was glad they had the little candles on the table so that I could see the plate. All this seems like I was going to a nice restaurant rather than a strip club, a perception that was to continue. There was a dancer on stage, but the stage was like six feet high and she pretty much disappeared from sight when she went to the other end of the stage. After I was done eating, I moved around the stage, climbed a few steps and found a table in front of the stage. Now the stage was only about 4 feet higher that the floor where I was. There were a few tables to tne side that were up several more stairs but these were the only other occupied tables around the stage. One of these tables was right where the dancers came on and off the stage and was an excellent spot to chat with the dancers; what was so odd about this place was that it was the only really good table in the entire place.
The room was actually a large two-story rectangular space with a balcony all the way around. The balcony was enclosed with glass or plexiglas. I don't know if anyone was up there as I couldn't see beyond the glass. The stage was approximately 4 by 8 meters with a large staircase from the second floor. None of the dancers used it; the dressing room was behind the stage accessed through a little door right by the one good table. The dancers were attractive enough but definitely bored, perhaps because of the small size of the crowd at that hour. It looked like the kind of place with a million dollar lighting system, but few lights were on, and the atmosphere was definitely subdued. The dancers danced 2 songs each with nudity by the end of the second dance, but sometimes just before the end.
Several girls asked me if I wanted a dance; one said she offered good dances but said she didn't allow any touching (when I asked). She was from Romania. The dancers I talked to were eastern European it seemed.
The 7 rating is a little generous, but the buffet was excellent, the swivel chairs were very comfortable, there was no smoking and the dancers were attractive and eventually got nude.
