My buddy and I made our annual pilgrimage to The Wheel recently. It will always be The Wagon Wheel to us (not the Players Club).We normally have gone before on weeknights, this was our first visit in a long time on a weekend. We had to re-up our membership, so it was $35 admission this night, but "only" $22 on subsequent visits in the next 12 months. Funny how admission at this little dive is more than at the 'palatial' clubs in Las Vegas. The Law of Supply & Demand, I suppose.

We got there around 9:45 with a cold 12-pack of Stella in our cooler. Got our usual spot, 1 row away from the main stage. When we got there, I'd say the place was about 1/3 filled with customers.. it was about 90% filled when we left at 12:15. I'm guessing there were about 15-20 girls working that night, with maybe 5 that were "my type" and I'd consider getting a LD from.

I went to the men's room soon after we got there, and when I came back my buddy had a “friend” sitting in my seat. So I pulled up another chair behind them, and overheard her recounting her life's drama to him for at least 30 minutes. I guess he's a good listener. He had a bad day, so he felt better about himself after listening to how messed up her life was!
