Two recent visits to the Tennyson...

Two recent visits to the Tennyson Lounge reviewed a few surprises. First, as is now the case in other establishments in Western PA, the Tennyson has become a nude club with alcohol also. Bravo to PA for waking up!! This used to be a somewhat dreary neighborhood establishment with just a few girls working - perhaps a spot to stop late at night on the way home when you just had to have one more drink. Now it seems to have been remodeled a little, some nice TVs featuring sports, friendly bartenders, and reasonably priced drinks. The dancers were completely a mixed bag - some should not be dancing anywhere, but others were cute and friendly. There was an annoying DJ working on the weekend, way too much talking, but his music selection was at least respectable (thankfully leaning towards the rock stuff). Definitely not a "destination" club, but it was nice to see this club become relaxed and respectable once again.
