Usually I go to the Player's...

Usually I go to the Player's Club, but since the Gold club is nearby, I decided to check it out. They're right off the highway, and the parking is ample and well lit. There were a few characters in the parking lot and milling around outside the entrance, but it didn't seem shady at all. Once I was inside and payed the cover to the friendly gentleman in his booth, the interior was very nicely appointed with a very large main stage and a couple other small stages where dancers were doing their thing. It was very clean, all of the carpets and surfaces looked to be in well-kept condition, and the stages were very well-lit. Almost *too* well-lit. The music was okay -- a rock/rap mix, not really stuff that I personally enjoy, but that's getting harder and harder to find these days. Seemed to be a relatively mid-to-upscale crowd, no real thug factor to speak of.

Almost all of the dancers were young and pretty, but enhanced-pretty. I don't really go for the plastic surgery types, as I vastly prefer a girl with real endowments. Aside from those on stage, there seemed to be about a dozen or so girls there, wandering around, but they kept pretty close to the stages as they made their rounds, and didn't venture out much into the slightly darker areas where I was sitting. After scoping out the house, I must have sat there for 15-20 minutes with the girls and waitresses milling around, and no one asked me for either dance or drink. (Of course, I noticed that an HVAC vent was blowing in the vicinity of the table, so maybe it wasn't a comfortable spot for a scantily-clad girl to sit.) Since I didn't really see anyone I was motivated to track down and ask myself, I bailed after about a half hour total inside.

I don't think I'd go back there after that lackluster performance, especially considering the Player's Club is right around the corner, where I always get a friendly reception, a good selection of un-enhanced girls, and a top-shelf grind.
