I've been going to the millstream for years and have watched as the club has changed. It used to be a neighborhood bar with reasonable prices and beautiful girls. It has been remodeled some years ago with emphasis on providing table seating with better views of the stage. Most of the bar seats have your back to the stage which is annoying if you are there by yourself and just want a few drinks and a show. The club is in a safe neighborhood in Woodlawn and doesn't have much competition. From my discussions with the dancers (most of whom have left)the shift pay is rediculous and if a dancer pulls a lousy shift she may work all day just to pay her costs,the good ones leave when they get angry, hell,Baltimore has a million clubs. You'll see a few 7 or 8's but most are aging and bloating career dancers who are drunk most of the time. It hurts me to say it but it's true. I would still go, you may get lucky and pick a good night. Lap dances are available but most dancers don't push them. After she leaves the stage they walk around collecting tips. A dollar will satify them so tip even if you don't want to, it's the reason they work. Tip big and you'll get some conversation although most of that is with the regular's who consistantly tip and buy drinks.
