I'd heard Rick's had fallen from its peak, but I still wanted to visit since I was in the area andthe place has had good times for me in the past, and I don't like to write a place off without seeing it myself. And yes, it was nowhere near the pushing-the-boundaries place I recall and the number of women was down (afternoon and all but still) and on some level it was kind of sad, but there's still the deal that you come to interact with a lucky one or two that can still make a club worth the visit, and I lucked out with Selena who was very sweet even though our activities were subdued. Club layout hasn't changed, you can still encounter diamonds, and there's always hope for the future return to prior activity levels. But right now I'd certainly not make a special trip.
