I've visited this club several times...

I've visited this club several times since my last posting. Decided to try their "all dances $10" special for Monday. I had previously checked by phone, and confirmed that the special was for topless dances only. I asked the first dancer why this was a "special", since I've learned in the mean time that the standard price for a topless dance is $10. She said that they make the songs longer. Since that is also the Sunday "special", where they advertise that all songs are 30% longer, I now wonder how much longer the Monday "specials" are.

They did have fairly frequent "3 for the price of 2" offers, as well as occasional "2 for one". The song lengths are definitly cut much shorter for the 2 for 1.

All these references to "song lengths" have no actual relationship to the start and stop of the stage music. It is strictly an amount of time that the DJ presumably can control from his booth. This also has the advantage, from the dancer's perspective, that they can start the dance anytime, and not have to wait until an actual start of a stage song.

I timed one set of 2 songs on stage at 5 minutes. I'm going to try to time some actual dances at my next visit.
