first visit to ricks in about 2 years. some of the brief preview reviews here made it sound like this place was totally different/no fun. decided to check it out anyhow. what i found was pretty much no change. still $10 to get in, with required $5 beverage. same layout as i remember. nude dancing on one stage early, both stages later in afternoon. now it seems that $30 have become the standard lap dance fee. i was able to get a few $20 ones, but these did seem to be a bit more tame (again, dancer dependent). some girls offered discounts for multiple dances (eg $50/2 or $40/2, supposedly at $30 value). i recognized a few dancers that have been there for a while, but didn't see some of the really long-time dancers. the quality of dancers has remained solid - all generally quite attractive. the quality of dance hasn't changed much (within the last 3-4 years). still pretty good contact/grinding, but the lady manager was pretty vigilant which was annoying as heck. so i'd say it's still one of my favorite clubs, but quality/value has slipped a bit. i'm glad to still have a tried and true favorite after my erstwhile addiction closed down (rip hld/nyc).
