The 16th and 17th of July...

The 16th and 17th of July I was in Tampa for the first time since I was a youngin', probably twenty years, and decided to see what their stripclubs were like. I checked out Mons Venus and 2001 Odyssey, which are pretty much right across the street from one another, both good clubs.

About 8pm Friday night, I go to Odyssey. It took me a bit of effort to find a parking spot. Once I go in, I find out it's a lot smaller than it looks like from outside, which I later find out is because of the private dance area and the champagne rooms. The club itself is pretty cramped. Also, they don't sell alcohol.

Now that I've told you about the downsides, I'll tell you why I liked it: the women. They're almost all gorgeous. A beautiful, 20-something blonde came up to me, we talked for a few minutes, then I got two dances from her in the private dance area, which has semi-private booths. She was about to go onstage and asked me if I'd like to go upstairs, which I declined.
