Was in town for business and...

Was in town for business and asked a cabbie to take me to the "best strip club downtown". He dropped me off in front of Carnaval. Not sure if maybe this was the only strip club he knew of, or more likely the furthest club from the pick up point he could drop me off at so he could maximize the fair, but once inside, I was less than impressed.

The doorman was nice enough, and the girl behind the bar was cool (from whom I bought a 6 dollar water from) but the lack of good looking girls was a disappointment. I had heard stories about the Portland club scene, and was expecting much more. There were maybe 5 or 6 girls working. One 7 (and I'm being generous) with the rest in the 3-5 range. Maybe I'm expecting too much for a Thursday night in Portland?

I stayed to watch a couple of stage shows which were average at best. One of the girls asked it I wanted to take her back to a private room for $160/half hour. If she was more than a 7, I would have been game, but I've been to too many rodeos to waste money on something I can get for free outside the club...anyway, looking forward to my next trip to Portland, when I can do some research on where to do this time.
