Just about time to cross this place off the list of "regular stops" as there just isn't much reason to stop by these days. There are a few pretty good looking women who work here but the place just has a dead feel to it. Most recent visit was fairly typical as the place had few customers and none of the dancers did anything for me. If you do find a girl you like, it usually isn't hard to get her attention and a dollar or two stageside will most often result in some pretty good contact. Unfortunately, about as often as not, you'll be lucky to find anyone. VIP area here is pretty private and contact can be pretty good in there too but, again, there is little point to spending $20 a dance if the girl isn't someone you think is worth it. Probably more turnover here than in other Lawrence clubs and it is likely because it is just hard to make much money when there are only a few customers. The only time I've ever really seen the place busy is fairly late on a Friday or Saturday night and that isn't going to cut it if you are trying to make a decent living. To be fair, the place seems clean enough and the staff has always treated me well but, ultimately, a strip club comes down to the quality of the dancers and the dances. Right now, Allstar's comes up short.
