I must say how disappointed I...

I must say how disappointed I am with this club, which was my main club for hanging out at for several months a few years back when I was really into going to clubs. The area (Brooklyn IL) really is getting run down, and there doesn't seem to have been much work done on the place in the last decade. Stage 1 was closed (and had been for about three weeks, apparently) because water was dripping from the rooftop equipment through the ceiling onto the stage - into a plastic bucket. A couple days I can understand, but three weeks without repairing the roof?

I had to go to the bar to get drinks. I can't remember ever being in a club that is so low-pressure to buy drinks. You might find this good, but I couldn't even seem to flag down a waitress when i was trying to!

Most of the girls were fairly good looking (I don't 7 would be an exagerated rating), but a lot of attitudes left something to be desired. Basically, you either got a "hi" or a "you want a dance?" If you got the latter, and answered not right now, you never heard from, spoke to, or encountered that dancer again. I had to hunt down dancers when i was ready for privates, and the lack of effort to do a dance for me was reflected in the quality of the dance. I asked one dancer not to do so much gymnastics (i.e. head stands), and she didn't seem to understand me. As a rule, however, everyone was nice. The guy selling hot dogs was a great guy.

The place was not very crowded for a Saturday night - I was disappointed. However, I accomplished my objectives, had not too bad a time, and went home. I would not have been so disappointed if I had not had such great times there in the past.
