A sad update I'm afraid. first a bit of background..

Staxx which by the time I got familiar with it was at 'D's Playhouse on 56th and Walnut was shutdown by philly's finest back early in the summer. The lapdance scene it hosted found a new home at SunBrian's which was located at 60th street at Market hosted the events. Just like at D's, in my opinion was about the best lapdance spot in the city, very focused and satisfying dances for decent prices, it really was what we all hope lapdances were at every club and no wasting anyones time with silly airdances or half-hearted attempts at teasing for the standard fare $20 or so.

Alas, it too was shut down this past weekend as I understand. I'm not entirely certain why but I can assume that wind of some of the 'extras' some of the females were agreable to doing might have gotten out to philly's finest and thus the shutdown. (the ability to make outside arrangements with some girls was not such a big secret). Again, it's speculation on my part.
