EH's Playhouse is one of three...

EH's Playhouse is one of three related clubs in the greater Kansas City area, the others being Pure Adult Lounge and Temptations in downtown KC. Elizabeth Hilden, Penthouse Pet, had worked days at Temptations and a former Temptations MC, Jimmy, was MC the evening I visited the Playhouse.

On the north side of Highway 50 just west of small college town, Warrensburg, the EH's Playhouse [EHP] looks from the outside like a roadside tavern. However, the inside is nicely furnished and anything but dingy. From the entrance you see a large bar area on your left with a small dancer stage area. This is a full service liquor bar. Off to your right is a more dimly lit area of small tables and padded chairs facing an elevated stage for dancers. Behind the stage, and separated by very thin curtains is a banquet seating area for the "Champagne Room" ($$$) experience. Again from the entrance and straight ahead of you is the moderate sized VIP room. Twenty dollars buys a wrist band allowing you to enter. Lap dances are $20/song, topless (since alcohol is served). Stage dances are also topless with g-string or thong coverage.

Drinks are reasonably priced and they do serve food -- from sandwiches and bar snack food to dinners. I had steak, baked potato, and salad for $12 including tip. The food certainly doesn't match KC's best steak emporiums but it is good for the price. There was no cover when I arrived before 5PM on a Saturday.
