I've been to Gold Cup a...

I've been to Gold Cup a few times before and it's not a bad place but not overwhelmingly amazing either. The club is fairly nondescript in the general area and I almost missed it the first time I visited (perhaps this is due to my lack of navigation skills.) I can echo the sentiments of a few other reviewers regarding the drinks being pricey and the girls being interested in talking to themselves rather than to the club patrons. The waitresses are friendly as well but seem to enjoy socializing with friends who who are in the club rather than working the room. The bartenders are friendly and the food isn't half bad (I had a steak because I was starving at the time.)

All in all there are some attractive girls but also several who I think look better in the dark. Several of the girls also look extremely young as if they've just graduated high school. I've often gone with a group of male friends and dances are fairly priced at $20 (as most are.) I can't say that the dance blew me away but it was average and once you have a few (high-priced) drinks in you I can't say I remember in detail. I'm not sure if this is appropriate for the review as it is second-hand information, but one of my friends had a private dance and the dancer got extremely friendly, even pulling him into the back again (no charge that time around.)

All in all, a good time but not a top club in the city by any means.
