Stopped in after an all too-short...

Stopped in after an all too-short visit to Mario's in Webster, MA. My night had been cut short by their early close time, so I dropped by. The dances I had from ... Lisa? ... were enjoyable -- plenty of enthusiasm. I had to work hard to avoid the hard-sell for a two-girl encounter I wasn't interested in, but I was polite and eventually they got the point.

Cover was $10. I enjoyed the first dance I had. I hung out by the stage for a bit, and I have to say this is one of the few places I've really enjoyed that experience. I sat at the tip rail for a good while, and before I left, got hit up for another dance during a special. Here's where the value dissapeared -- either I missed a song swap on a short song, or I got hustled for an extra dance. I was leaving anyhow, so it wasn't worth the fight. I'll give them props for staying open awfully late. I think I left after 3AM, but I don't remember -- things we still hopping when I left.

While I enjoyed the dances, they are too expensive at $40, and I find myself with a bad taste after that experience. I wouldn't hesitate to stop back, have a beer, and sit at the stage again -- it's pretty chill. If I am inclined for lap dances, it'd be worth the planning of a better timed drive to Webster and hit Mario's.
