I had a strange but enjoyable...

I had a strange but enjoyable experience here. I was driving through Morgantown on a Monday afternoon in a snowstorm and decided to duck off the road and wait for better conditions. I pulled out my iphone to look for open clubs and this was the only area club open before 7PM, so I decided to give it a shot.

Beware: If you don't know where you are going, it is really hard to find. It is not on a main road, but on a narrow and winding road down a "holler". If you are coming from the I-79/I-68 split, you'll need to follow I-68 east and exit at WV-119. Take it south, past a strip mall (called Morgantown Mall, I think), and you'll see a tiny sign on your right as you go south that says "Hwy 73 1/4 mile". You'll have to make about a 300-degree turn. (It is much easier to find 73 if you miss your turn, as I did, and have to turn around. Hwy. 73 appears as a fork in northbound WV-119; make a slight right there, and you're almost there, after a few curves and hills.)

I showed up at about 5PM and was the only customer in the place. The bartender told me there was only one girl on until 7PM. She was a pretty cute blonde so I stuck around. I was a bit surprised that she felt obligated to do a stage dance, but she did, and it was enjoyable to watch. Then she came and sat with me and we talked for at least 15 minutes. She didn't ask for cash or for dances; she seemed happy to sit and chat. I actually pulled out a $20 and gave it to her for her time and she was genuinely surprised and grateful.
