This club was just down the road from the hotel I was staying in on a recent trip to Toronto, so I stopped by on a couple of evenings during the week. There is no cover to get in, although they make up for that with slightly more expensive drinks. The club itself is a bit dark and dirty, and you want to check the seats before sitting on them – especially around the stage area. Not that the stage is set up for much of a show. The club is long and thin, so doesn't loan itself to stage performances, and the dancers on stage seemed pretty uninspired. Off the stage, however, the girls are nice and friendly. Mostly young and white, the girls seem to come from all over Canada, as well as eastern Europe and Russia. They all seemed happy to sit and chat for a while, with little pressure to go for a dance. I don't remember any names, but I did head upstairs for a few dances. This is the 'nice' part of the club, which seems to get cleaned every once in a while. There is a $20 charge to get upstairs, but that seems to buy you a couple of hours access before they charge you again, so you can go back up for another dance without having to pay every time. The dances themselves vary from girl to girl. The area is too well lit for things to get too friendly, but there is plenty of grinding, if that is your thing. There is one tall bald bouncer who seems to have made it his job to ruin any fun you might be having, but if you can ignore that, then a good time can be had. Overall, not a bad experience for a downtown club, but there is a lot more fun to be had if you trek to the outskirts of town.
