Writing a Mons Venus review for...
Writing a Mons Venus review for TUSCL is like giving a Super Bowl analysis the week after the game. It's tough to add anything that hasn't been said many times before. By now anyone who is reading this page knows about the beauty of the women, the mileage of the LD's, the lack of privacy, the overcrowding on weekend nights, the $20 all-day cover, and the lack of parking.
At least my early Tuesday evening visit permitted me to move around the room without tripping over dancers or patrons, and even to sit at the tip rail for a while placing Washingtons in some of the best cleavage on the planet. Then Kaitlyn arrived and whisked me off to the back corner for a pair of full-contact LD's in the best Mons Venus tradition.
In fact, tradition may be the one part of the Mons mystique that gets overlooked by newer TUSCL reviewers. I started hitting the club scene in Tampa almost 20 years ago and there were three clubs of roughly equal stature- Mons, 2001 Odyssey across the street, and the Tanga a few blocks away. The Tanga has fallen to expressway construction and the Odyssey has become a high-hustle money extraction machine. Only Mons keeps on doing what made it famous. Like the team that runs its spring training just up the street, the New York Yankees, Mons Venus still sets the standard by which all other strip clubs are judged.
