I had never been to Sonny's...

I had never been to Sonny's before even though it is close to my home. I had driven by once and based on what I saw, kept driving! However, I had recently read a review of Sonny's in a local Phoenix magazine called Playtime. The review was very complimentary and concluded that this is a fun club with lots of beautiful ladies. So I decided that I would finally check it out this past Saturday night.

Sonny's is rather far out from the rest of the Phoenix area, it is on the south side of Chandler away from town and situated right next to a rock quarry. The building from the outside does not look like much. Unlike most gentlemen's clubs, there is not a lot of exterior lighting or big lit up signs. There is just a small sign on the roadside and one lit up sign on the building itself. The parking area is small and the place was pretty busy, so I ended up having to park in the dirt lot that is right in front of the building.

Cover was 6 bucks, about standard for Phoenix area clubs. Inside the club is a bit on the small side, but the space is well used. There is a main stage right as you walk in the door. Immediately on the left is the bar area. There is seating at the bar and on the wall to the right as you walk in the door. Around the main stage there are the usual table and chairs setup. There is seating right at the stage as well.
