I get to Seattle a couple times a year, and I have this routine: I schedule a flight that gets in at noon or so, get my rental car, head up I-5 to Lake City Way, find somewhere to change into appropriate lapping attire, slip on a raincoat, and ease into this delightful little place. This time, my eyes had barely adjusted to the dim light when Amanda recognized me (even after 6 months), snuggled up next to me, and latched on. We went to the back, and...I won't be graphic, but let's just the treatment was extra-special. A short but very memorable visit.
