The Leather and Lace Club is...

The Leather and Lace Club is located right off of US 321 in good old Gastonia. To get to it head down 321 into downtown Gastonia. If you are coming off of I-85 take exit 17 (i believe) and head down 321 south towards downtown Gastonia. Make a right onto Main St. and the Leather and Lace Club will be about 1/2 a mile down the road on the right. Admittance is 7 bucks with an MAL Membership (10 if you are under 18 but have a membership.)

When you first enter the club you might be suprised at its size. When considering the large number of people it gets on the weekend, it can easily turn into standing room only. The stage is of a moderate size and is T-shaped with chairs surrounding the stage. Every time that I have been, they usually have a good amount of dancers. Some cons are that some of the dancers will hole themselves up in the dressing room, and like in most clubs some dancers have their regular customers. All in all, I find that the dancers can range from very ugly to drop dead gorgeous. Also, some dancers tend to be on the older side, although they do have a good amount of younger women on the weekends and at night. Usually there is a very good mix of dancers who won't disappoint.

Lap dances are $10, although lat week when I went on a Friday, they were only 5 bucks (I'm not sure if this was a special, or a change they made for 2004). VIP Dances are 20 bucks and are usually very worth your money.
